Looking to share your add-on or patch with the world? Well you've come to the right place.
We are adding new downloads to the Soccer Gaming Downloads Centre every day. If you'd like yours to be amongst them please follow these steps exactly.
Webmasters: If you have a website and would like us to link directly to your download page we would be more than happy to do this. Simply send an email to
andrew@soccergaming.com with details of what your patch does, how big it is, some screenshots and of course the URL
to the download page for the patch, and we'll put it straight in the Downloads Centre. When a visitor clicks on "Download Now" they will be taken directly to your site's
specific download page.
If you wish to have your file hosted on one of our dedicated download servers please follow the steps below.
1. Zipping Up Your Download
Zip up the files that you wish to submit for downloading. To do this you require a copy of
Winzip.
2. Creating the readme.txt
Include a readme.txt in the zip. The readme.txt needs to created in Notepad and include the following details: Name of Download,
Author, Game it is for (eg. FIFA 2003, FIFA 99) Description of what the download does, how to install the download, size of download, credit. Any further information you
wish to add will be gladly accepted. Please note that failure to include a readme.txt in your zip will result in your download not being added to the Soccer Gaming Downloads
Centre. For an example on what an acceptable readme.txt looks like please click here.
Feel free to use this example as a template for your readme.txt.
3. Attaching your Download and optional screen shots to an email
Attach the zip file in an email to addressed to the appropriate Downloads Manager listed below.
Please include a detailed description similar to your readme.txt in your email to make adding your download to the Soccer Gaming Downloads Centre easier for our
Downloads Managers. Please feel free to also attach any screen shots to the email. A maximum of 3 screen shots can be added. Although not compulsory, we would prefer
if your screen shots were 640x480 in size, or to a ratio similar of. The screen shots must be in JPEG format (eg. screenshotname.jpg). Please note that failure to explain
what your download does will result in it not being added. If you do not speak good English, we will take that into account.
4. Selecting the Appropriate
Downloads Manager
Please select the appropriate Downloads Manager from the list below to email your download to.
6. Keep an eye out for your download appearing in the Soccer Gaming Downloads Centre.
Due to the incredible amount of downloads we receive each day, it can take up to 10 days for your download to be added.
